After breakfast the father of the house managed to communicate to us that we should follow him, so we headed through the village to meet up with the others and Pok. After sending people off to collect water, it was an incredibly hot day, we headed off with many of the villagers in tow for our tour round the village.
We had been told that we could join in with the work of the village, but supposedly it was a quite time, the rice and sweetcorn harvests were done so the village was in a relaxed mood.
We walked along the road to the end of the village, to be confronted by a large hill, I could have wept! We trudged up it to the local primary school full of the cutest little children. We descended upon them and the girls quickly sat down to play, we did reduce one poor lad to tears and some of the others were a little daunted.
Sarah wins a prize for interacting with a little lad and making him giggle his socks off!
