With the lack of windows and only wooden cladding the full surround sound experience was enjoyed.
I fought through till 4:30am finding myself rating in my head the quality of the squarks. One particular resident clearly was a learner as it did a cockle-doodle-dont sound and I found myself shouting DOO at the appropriate time.
I finally came down stairs at around 6 and enjoyed a bucket shower and the obligatory squattie toilet visit.
Sitting outside our house macac came and sat on my lap, and preceeded to preen me, quite an experience. Bird also awoke and started squarking.
The girls all came down at around 6 muttering about bloomin chickens.
Breakfast was served as soon as we where up, a full 3 courses, no idea what, but spicy food is a little difficult early in the moring. The coffee was the best yet.
Fully charged we went for a walk, arriving near the river it appears the whole village was out, hacking, chopping, sweeping, painting, making baskets and generally having a good spring clean.
Steph and Hayley where press ganged into sweeping, which I bet is a first for them at 8 in the morning. I of course had to machete some shrubs, as it's clearly a man thing.
