After the school we headed to the village temple. After removing shoes we settled down onto the floor for a rest from the heat. The villagers turned on the electric fans so it there was a fabulous breeze, so we quite happy to settle down and listen attentively to Pok. He'd tried to impart knowledge to us on previous occasions but even the most attentive of us found it hard to concentrate in the stifling heat. SO it was nice to sit and listen and ask questions and learn a little something about the "Buddisms."
The temple was a colourful yet peaceful place, lovingly cared for by the one resident monk and the villagers.
