Got the school banks cards today, but for some reason I have two, but no PIN number.
Called the bank and found out which one was the valid one and ordered a new PIN, they informed me that I have a small limit on the card so had to increase that for the trip.
Have always had problems with accessing money, last year the bank flagged up a transaction in Namibia and temporarily blocked the card, even though we'd told them it would be used there!
Suspect it will be the same again this year despite our and the schools best efforts, but we have lots of backup cards/accounts and options.
